The state of Wisconsin has one of the highest incarceration rates in the United States. It is mostly those who are either colored or come from a place of poverty, that are behind bars in Wisconsin. There has been many calls for prison reform but things have yet to change. We have to continue to call for reform and release those who are being held on lengthy sentences for non-violent crimes.
